Gomoku

Connect exactly 5 of the same stones in a row (horizontally, vertically or diagonally).

Place your stone on any unoccupied spot of the board. Aim to form a row of 5 markers in a sequence, either horizontally, up and down, or at an angle. Block your competitor from forming their own sequence of five. Take turns placing pieces with your opponent until one contestant wins in forming a line of five. Keep in mind that the match finishes immediately when a row of five is made, with no need to fill the entire board.
